KEEP THE SPITE. MAKE IT USEFUL.

FAIR COMPARISONS.
REAL EXPERIENCES.

Working apps. Specific problems. Honest tradeoffs. Free listings, with human review before publication.

List something people can use

  • Submit a working product you own or are authorized to represent.
  • Name the app you replace, or explain a concrete frustration and how people handled it before. Built-in features, utilities and everyday workflows count. A named competitor is optional for a frustration fix. Games can be listed without a competing app: explain why you built the game and what it is like to play.
  • Explain how your product improves the app or task, and give current pricing. Your backstory and tradeoffs are optional; anything you include must be accurate. Link to evidence where needed. App listings need a specific problem and meaningful improvement. Game listings need a concrete description of gameplay and why you made them.
  • Platforms and up to three screenshots are optional. Put the clearest overview first as the cover. Use actual app screens you have permission to share, without private customer data, passwords or misleading mockups.

Review what you actually tried

  • Describe your own experience, the app or workflow you used before, what worked and what did not.
  • Disclose ownership, employment, payment, incentives and other affiliations. Affiliated reviews are labeled and excluded from the community verdict. Makers' reviews are always affiliated.
  • One review per account per product. No multiple identities, coordinated voting, fake testimonials or promotional copy disguised as a review.

Reviews are self-reported, not verified purchases. Rating sorts use the percentage of approved independent reviews that say BETTER, with more reviews breaking ties. Unrated listings come last.

What happens after you submit

  • A signed-in account with a verified primary email is required. Email verification does not verify a company, product or its claims.
  • New listings and reviews stay private until approved. Track status and feedback in My account; listing decisions also come by email.
  • Edits to an approved listing go into a separate review. The previous approved version stays available until the changes are approved. Proposed text and new images stay private.
  • Edits to reviews, maker responses and updates hide that content until approved again.
  • You can pause and resume approved listings. Approval of edits does not resume a paused listing. Removing a listing hides its page and reviews and cannot be undone from My account.

We may correct, reject or remove content that breaks these rules. Administrative listing corrections are recorded privately and communicated to the maker. Reports do not automatically hide content or change ratings. Private moderation records are retained.

Keep the criticism useful

Criticize products and practices, not private people. No harassment, threats, employees' personal information, unsupported allegations, misleading offers, malware or referral links submitted as products.

Listing owners can submit one response per review and post release updates with an optional image and HTTPS link. Both require moderation. Makers cannot edit reviewers' words or verdicts. No pressure to change a verdict. Updates do not reset reviews, change ratings or enter the daily new-listings digest.

Know what a listing means

Comparisons come from makers and are not endorsements. Publication does not independently verify claims or guarantee suitability, security, availability or exposure. No paid placement is offered.

Private drafts save to your account without consent declarations; confirm those again when submitting. Reviewers can enable email notifications for approved maker responses and disable them in My account. These notices are separate from the opt-in daily digest.

Corrections and privacy

Use Report on the content or open a private support ticket. Include the product link and details. If you cannot sign in, contact @JoinClubSpite on X.

Your contact email is private and used for listing administration. Listings publish your chosen maker name and comparison; reviews publish your chosen name, previous app, experience, verdict, tradeoffs and affiliation. Clerk manages accounts and email verification. Account IDs and hashed network identifiers help prevent duplicates and abuse. See the privacy policy.
